Come up with two or three healthy or positive things that you know you prefer to avoid in your life. Try to find at least one that was not mentioned by Pastor Dave. What would it take to begin to improve in one of those areas?
- Have you ever trained for an athletic event, or set some personal fitness goals? How did that work out, and why do you feel you succeeded (or failed, if that's the case)?
- Have you ever used a bench press before? How long does it take to see noticeable results? Why do you think it takes so much repetition for us to develop strength (physically or otherwise)?
- Consider Galatians 6:7-9 and how it relates to today's video. Discuss how or why we might "become weary in doing good" and what we can do to avoid such fatigue.
